Who we are

Turning crop residue into heat, and harvests into products.

SahelDry is the biomass drying-systems brand of GreenMach International Commerce Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong). We design, supply, install and commission biomass-fired industrial drying systems for producers across West Africa and beyond.

How we deliver — a single point of responsibility

Company overview

Our work sits at the intersection of two problems that turn out to be one problem: agricultural producers lose a large share of every harvest for want of preservation capacity, and they sit on volumes of crop residue with no productive use. Our systems solve the second to solve the first.

Every SahelDry system pairs a biomass burner — rated from 200,000 to 900,000 kcal — with a hot-air generator and precision-controlled drying chambers, engineered around the fuel a client already has and the product they need to preserve.

Mission & vision

  • Agricultural value addition — building the processing capacity that lets producers capture more of the value in what they grow.
  • Energy independence — designing around locally available renewable fuel rather than imported or grid energy.
  • Environmental responsibility — closing the loop between agricultural production and the energy that processes it.
  • Technical capability transfer — every system includes the training that makes the client independent of us for day-to-day operation.
  • Market access — engineering to the international food-safety standards ↗ that international buyers actually specify.

Core values

Appropriate technology

The most sophisticated system is not always the right one. We size and specify against the operation in front of us — a village cooperative and a commercial estate need different machines, and pretending otherwise serves nobody.

Engineering honesty

We publish real specifications, real fuel ranges and real limitations. Where a system will not suit an application, we say so.

Durability over novelty

Equipment installed in remote locations with limited service access must be repairable with available parts and available skills.

Full-lifecycle responsibility

Our involvement does not end at commissioning. Spare-parts availability, training and technical support are part of the product.

Industry expertise

  • Thermal engineering — combustion chamber design, heat-exchanger configuration, airflow distribution and thermal insulation.
  • Food-processing technology — product-specific drying parameters, quality retention, and hygienic design for food-contact environments.
  • Control & automation — PLC architecture, HMI design, variable-frequency-drive integration and safety interlocking.
  • Post-harvest science — moisture behaviour, case hardening, colour and nutrient retention, and microbial stability.
  • Project delivery — design, manufacture, shipping, installation supervision, commissioning and training in challenging logistics environments.
Where we work. We’re built for West Africa first — Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau, Benin and Senegal — and equipped to supply and support projects into East, Southern and North Africa.

Let’s size a system around your harvest.

Tell us what you dry, how much, and what fuel you have on site. We’ll come back with a configuration and a fuel-cost projection.
